Dermapen is an effective tool used to treat the following
Collagen induction therapySun damageAgeing/Rhytids (wrinkles)HyperpigmentationRosaceaEnlarged poresScarringAlopeciaHair regenerationStriae (stretch marks)
Lets look at the difference between the Dermapen and traditional needling rollers
With the dermapen the needles penetrate the skin straight on and not an angles like with traditional rollers. It is easier to get closer to the eyes, easier to treat enlarged pores on the nose and closer to the lip line. The dermapen needle depth is adjustable which means we can work deeper on the cheeks and not so deep around eyes etc and because it stamps the skin very fast there is a faster treatment time.
Lidocaine can be applied to the skin prior to treatment to ease the discomfort. Following the treatment your skin will look and feel sunburnt for up to 48hrs and it is best to avoid makeup during this time.
Its hard to say exactly how many treatments a person will need, everyone will respond to treatment differently. The average is 3-6 and the price is from £150 per treatment and you will be given a bottle of Hyaluronic acid to help hydrate the skin following treatments.
If you don't need a course of treatments, you can have one treatment to freshen your complexion, its the celebrity favourite! A single treatment is £200
